YOUR CHALLENGES
This role is focused on leading and orchestrating compliance activities across internal and external stakeholders. Main activities will be:
- Coordinate compliance evaluations conducted by external consultants and certification bodies.
- Schedule and lead Hazop/Hazid sessions with clients and regulatory entities.
- Act as the primary interface with certification agencies, regulatory authorities, and institutional representatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams: product engineering, project management, procurement, and suppliers.
- Provide technical guidance on applicable standards and codes (OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, CSA, IEC, ISO, etc.).
- Support project reviews to ensure compliance with machine safety and environmental requirements.
- Review and validate safety documentation: risk analyses, conformity reports, manuals, signage.
- Deliver internal training on safety and compliance standards to engineering and project teams.
- Monitor regulatory updates and assess their impact on product & project compliance and maintenance activities.

- Education: Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience: 7–10 years in compliance, certification, or regulatory roles
- Industry Background: Experience in energy, oil & gas, industrial systems, or consulting firms dealing with product certification.
- Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships
- Strong understanding of North American and international compliance frameworks
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Fluent in English; Italian or Spanish would be a plus.
- Availability to travel in Italy for training for 2/3 weeks.
