YOUR CHALLENGES
Reporting to the North America Procurement Manager you will work in the Procurement & Supply Chain Department with the following main responsabilities:
- Order Management, identify the items needed for specific projects/stock and placing the respective POs, in coordination with the North America Procurement Manager and the Category Manager assigned to that item/service group, following the guidelines defined by the Category Managers in HQ, Italy;
- Logistics Management, identify the logistics services needed for some specific projects and the transport/actions required to get the items/equipments on site, placing the respective POs, in coordination with the North America Procurement Manager, respecting the guidelines defined by the Logistics Manager in HQ, Italy;
- Vendor Management, maintain the partnership with the existing vendors and scout new ones to increase AB Energy portfolio;
- Manage Overhaul and Repair, taking care of handling items reparation needed for stock/project and scouting new local/international vendors, acquiring a good general knowledge related to those repaired products;
- Tools Management, purchase tools and items needed by AB Energy personnel to work (PPE, lifting tools, work tools, …), handling also their annual inspection/reparation.
Side Responsibilities (mainly on holidays or sick leave of the Team colleagues):
- Support Corporate Purchasing, like services corporate functions (marketing, HSE, HR, legal, …);
- Support Travel Office, booking hotels, flights, rental cars, for AB employee travelling across/out of the Country;
- Support Fleet Management, buying new vehicles and handling their maintenances;
- Support Warehouse Activities, mainly on the ERP side to allow punctual update of the stock.
- Support the AB Energy Canada/Puerto Rico purchasing activities only in case of particular needs

- You have a degree in economy or similar
- You have 2 years at least of experience in the same role, preferably in the Industry sector
- You have knowledge of the North American market and of Logisitics and Tools Management
- You have SAP and Microsoft Office knowledge
- Strong problem solving and planning and analysis skils
- Good are a team player
- You have good negotiation skills and know how to manage effective communication with your interlocutors, promoting positive relationships
- You are English mother tongue
