YOUR CHALLENGES
The Service Area Manager is responsible for the activities of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of a group of plants located on the basis of geographic considerations and numerical complexity. He coordinates and controls a team of Service Technicians, manages the procurement of materials, check the billing and he is the main reference point for the customers.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
Service Sales Areas:
- Manage customer relationship to ensure client retention and growth in the area assigned, for example, performing sales calls or traveling to Customer sites and speaking/negotiating with customers on existing or new potential contracts
Service Operations Supervision:
- Schedule and manage manpower, materials, equipment and tools to ensure that customer requirements are fulfilled
- Coordinate with the Control Room the resolution of complicated mechanical, software and electrical issues
- Verify timely completion of service request and reports
- Manage warranty issues
- Maximize quality of service and productivity
- Monthly monitor the invoice process
- Validate forecast emergency parts to maintain in the warehouse based on the engine fleet
- Based on underwritten contract, forecast the required parts for future preventive maintenance activities
- Supervise and coordinate the Field service Technicians activities
People Management:
- Guarantee the professional growth of the Field Service Technicians team
- Manage Technicians’ Time/OT hours, holidays and time off in work schedule
- Manage Training for Technicians (AB and GE along with Safety training requirements)
