YOUR CHALLENGES
The Service Area Manager ensures the correct adoption of Service policies and activities his/her area, training, managing and supporting the assigned Field Service Technician Team to guarantee quality and timeliness of the service provided, with the aim of ensuring total customer satisfaction and loyalty, in compliance with company guidelines and with the utmost attention to times and costs. Currently in the area there are 15 active plants (8 biomethane) in Bavaria, Baden, Saarland Rhineland, Hesse, Thuringia Saxony areas
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
ORGANISATION
- Interfacing with the customer and in agreement with the RSM, he/she prepares and updates the weekly calendar of routine maintenance, schedules the extraordinary maintenance, updating the annual calendar of maintenance activities (Minor and Major), also carrying out the analysis of inventories with the request to open the necessary Service Orders.
- He/she is responsible for collecting information and data for the correct operation of the plant and the preservation of components (e.g. tower water analysis, boilers, SCR).
- Coordinates operational activities in the field, manages the assignment and allocation of technicians for the correct distribution of resources, ensuring a consistent allocation of activities, based on the skills of the technicians, appoints the maintenance officer.
- He/she is available by phone for critical situations that require involvement with the customer.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Meets with team members in his/her area
- Follows the Performance Manageme Proposes targets for resources in his/her area.
- Share with RSM and HRBP any critical issues related to the his/her team members.
- Ensures the development of technical skills suitable for the role
- Participates in the process of selecting new resources by evaluating the technical skills of candidates in the field.
CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT
- Maintains relationships with customers in the area, meeting with them periodically
- Knows and applies the details of contracts and the objectives of the provision of services.
- Manages critical customer situations as a technical and management point of contact, in coordination with RSM.
- Carries out periodic audits at customer sites and issues specific reports
- Supports the drafting of offers by the sales office with Maintenance Engineering, indicating the spare parts and the timeframes for activities to the operation support team.
- Ensures that the state of the sites complies with company standards.
ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT
- Verifies multi-annual and rate-based invoices
- Collects the plant hours and updates the hours-engine in SAP for engines without a connection (for which, moreover, he/she undertakes to restore or establish a connection).
- Verifies the technician hours entered and approves them.
