YOUR CHALLENGES

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

ORGANISATION

  • Interfacing with the customer and in agreement with the RSM, prepare and update the weekly calendar of routine maintenance working with the FSS
  • Responsibility for collecting information and data for the correct operation of the plant and the preservation of components
  • Supervise problem reports generated by the Control Room, planning any necessary corrective actions
  • Periodically check the Plant Performance Reports on Power BI
  • Coordinate operational activities in the field, manage the assignment and allocation of technicians for the correct distribution of resources, ensuring a consistent allocation of activities, based on the skills of the technicians
  • Availability by phone for critical situations that require involvement with the customer
  • Ensure that warranty operations are carried out in accordance with the defined company procedure, with particular attention to the return of materials
  • Fill in with Maintenance Engineering and participate in the presentation of the Root Cause Analysis document for serious problems

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

  • Meet with team members in their area on a regular basis to coordinate their activities and organise at least two annual meetings
  • Share the best technical-management approach of the team in the management of technicians, helping them to identify the optimal approach with each employee
  • Follow the Performance Management cycle, carrying out periodic evaluations, analysing them with the RSM, for the entire team of Technicians, discussing the results achieved and sharing the requests for bonuses or recognitions for the work done. Propose targets for the following year for individual FSS and FST resources in their area
  • Share with RSM and HRBP any critical issues related to his/her team members
  • Ensure the development of technical skills suitable for the role
  • Check and approve the hours of overtime and holidays of FSS and FST resources
  • Participate in the process of selecting new resources by evaluating the technical skills of candidates in the field
  • Responsible for the monitoring and performance of the technicians hired for confirmation after the trial or after the contractual period, with the support of the FSS

CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT

  • Maintain relationships with customers in the area, meeting with them periodically, measuring their satisfaction and identifying any needs
  • Know and apply the details of contracts and the objectives of the provision of services
  • Manage critical customer situations as a technical and management point of contact, in coordination with RSM
  • Carry out periodic audits at customer sites and issues specific reports and makes the necessary calls for non-compliance with operating requirements
  • Supervise the request for documentation for access to the plants
  • In accordance with the contractual conditions, send the regulatory obligations that customers are required to carry out annually
  • Support the drafting of offers by the sales office with Maintenance Engineering
  • Ensure that the state of the sites complies with company standards

ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT

  • Verify multi-annual and rate-based invoices
  • Collect the plant hours and updates the hours-engine in SAP for engines without a connection
  • Verify the technician hours entered and approves them
  • Read the technical reports, making sure that they are correctly drafted
  • Verify counts on each Service Order when closing it, with particular reference to Service Orders with anomalies

  • Technical Degree
  • Experience in power plants – energy sector (RNG, CHP, biogas, biomethane plants) or similar
  • Technical background and strong technical competencies (mechanical, electrical….)
  • Experience in people management and leadership
  • Good communication skills (relationship with customers and colleagues)
  • German mother tongue and good English are mandatory
  • Availability to travel in the assigned area
  • Flexibility and availability on call
