YOUR CHALLENGES
Reporting directly to the General Manager France, the Sales Director France will lead AB’s commercial strategy within the French market. The role involves actively developing and managing a robust pipeline of contacts and business originators across strategically targeted sectors. You will play a key role in driving initiatives that enhance AB’s market presence and long-term growth in France.
France is a key market for AB, and in the coming years, the company aims to achieve strong growth and reach new heights in this rapidly expanding sector.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Define the national sales strategy aligned with global company objectives
- Analyze the local market to identify growth opportunities and competitive threats
- Implement and monitor business development initiatives to increase AB’s opportunity pipeline
- Identify and assess potential partners and business promoters capable of generating leads and building a reliable global network
- Identify and evaluate possible growth strategies (acquisitions, alliances, licenses, and partnership opportunities aligned with the strategic plan)
- Promote the company and its products in line with the local context
- Build trust-based relationships with potential clients
- Assign targets and monitor individual and team performance
- Support the team in negotiating high-value or complex contracts
- Organize regular meetings for strategic and operational alignment
- Foster a results-driven, collaborative, and customer-focused culture
- Provide guidance for drafting sales contracts in accordance with local practices
- Establish relationships for potential post-sales support from local companies
- Monitor sales KPIs (revenue, margins, conversion rates, pipeline health)
- Manage sales forecasts and projections
- Participate in international meetings and contribute to strategic vision
- Collaborate with HQ and other countries to share best practices
WHY WE WOULD CHOOSE YOU
- You have an Engineer degree (mechanical/electrical/energetic) OR a Technical Diploma
- You have at least 10-15 years experience in energy field, cogeneration, biomethane or biogas sector)
- You have in-depth knowledge of the biomethane sector at the European level
- You have strong negotiation and commercial skills (inclination to drive the sales, to guide customers and to surf the market.. )
- You have strong managerial skills
- You have a fluent English skills
- You are looking for an international context, which invests in people and their skills, where you can undertake a commercial career in a rapidly developing sector
- You have gained significant experience working with international clients or within industrial/technological environments
- You possess excellent interpersonal, listening, and negotiation skills
- You are strongly results-oriented and focused on customer satisfaction
- You are proficient in CRM tools and the Microsoft Office suite
- You have developed an analytical approach and are able to manage KPIs such as revenue per account, gross margin per client, contract renewal rate, and customer satisfaction levels (NPS or equivalent).
