YOUR CHALLENGES
Based in Bucharest and reporting directly to the General Manager Romania, the Regional Sales Manager will lead AB’s commercial strategy within the South Romania and the Bulgaria market. The role involves actively developing and managing a robust pipeline of contacts and business originators across strategically targeted sectors. You will play a key role in driving initiatives that enhance AB’s market presence and long-term growth in the region.
In coordination with the General Manager, he/she will be in charge of the following activities:
• Manage the entire sales process
• Business development in all applications (NGS, Biogas,Biomethan, etc.)
• Research and preselection of new opportunities/new customers, carrying out an accurate preselection of opportunities and carrying out targeted market analysis
• In coordination with the Technical Sales Support department identify the technical solutions to be applied to the cogeneration plant
• Coordination of communication with the Proposal Engineering Office
• Development of technical and economic feasibility analyses
• Support during sales actions and pre-selection of opportunities
• Preparation of tenders and related technical documentation
• In coordination with the Legal Department, preparation of contracts
• Active participation in fairs and events in order to develop new contacts
• Development of analyses to verify the existence of potential economic incentives
WHY WE WOULD CHOOSE YOU
• Engineering Degree (mechanical, energetical or electrical) OR different degree but with technical expertise in the sector
• 5+ years of experience in technical sales preferable in energy field (cogeneration Biogas, Biomethane, CHP) or complex industrial plants
• Excellent commercial and negotiation skills (business development, scouting new customers, building pipelines, presentations, negotiation, communication with customers…)
• Knowledge about feasibility study
• Availability to travel in Romania and Bulgaria
• Good English knowledge
• Availability to stay in Italy for training during the first months – onboarding period (from 2 to 6 weeks not continuous)
• Based in Bucharest, availability to travel
